If you have been considering a remap, our November package gives you a clear price and two included extras. The Stage 1 remap remains £275 including VAT. During the offer period, the carbon clean and in-tank injector cleaner add £138 of value without increasing that price.
The offer runs from 1 to 26 November 2026. Send us your registration and vehicle details before booking so we can confirm suitability and explain the correct route for your car or van.
What does a Stage 1 remap change?
ECU remapping adjusts the calibration used by the engine’s control unit. For a suitable, mechanically healthy standard vehicle, Stage 1 tuning can improve usable torque, throttle response and power delivery without requiring major hardware changes.
The most useful improvement depends on how you drive. Some owners want stronger mid-range pulling power, while others value smoother everyday response. We discuss your vehicle and goals before recommending a calibration.
There is no single power increase that applies to every vehicle. Engine type, ECU software, existing modifications and mechanical condition all affect the outcome. Figures in our remap checker are estimates, not measured rolling-road results. Fuel savings are also dependent on driving style, route and load, and are not guaranteed.
Two different cleaning extras
The carbon-cleaning service and the in-tank injector cleaner are separate parts of this package. The carbon clean is a workshop service carried out where the engine is suitable. Its relevance depends on the vehicle’s condition and whether deposits are contributing to its symptoms.
The injector cleaner is an in-tank treatment, worth £49. It is not an injector removal, bench-cleaning or refurbishment service. It does not repair a worn or faulty injector. We will confirm that the treatment is appropriate for your vehicle and explain its use.
Neither extra is a substitute for finding and repairing an underlying fault. We keep the distinction clear so you know exactly what is included.
A healthy vehicle comes first
We begin by discussing the vehicle, checking its ECU identification and reviewing its condition. PPG uses genuine programming tools and in-house file analysis, with battery support and the appropriate programming method chosen for the job. The original ECU file is retained where supported.
Warning lights, limp mode, heavy smoke, boost problems, clutch slip, DPF warnings or AdBlue faults should be investigated before tuning. A remap will not repair a boost leak, failing sensor or damaged component. If those symptoms are present, start with vehicle diagnostics so we can advise you properly.
Following programming, checks, live-data review or road validation are completed where appropriate. ECU remapping is a vehicle modification and should be declared to your insurer.
