ECU, BCM, BSI and module testing enquiry

ECU & BCM Testing Enquiry Form

Send PPG the vehicle, module and fault details first. We review the information, confirm whether bench testing is suitable, then agree any testing fee, repair, cloning, coding or recovery route before payment or module sending.

Enquire Testing confirmed first

This form is for a testing enquiry, not an automatic payment. PPG checks the details first and confirms whether the module is suitable for bench testing, cloning, repair assessment or another route.

Important: do not send a module or make payment until PPG confirms the correct test route, cost and reference for your enquiry.

How The Request Works

A clear intake protects both sides. PPG needs vehicle details, module identity and fault history before we can decide whether repair, cloning, recovery or replacement is realistic.

01

Submit

Complete the intake form with vehicle, module and fault details.

02

Review

PPG checks whether testing is suitable and what information is still needed.

03

Confirm

We confirm the testing route, cost and reference before any payment.

04

Send

Send or drop off the module only after PPG gives you the go-ahead.

What We Can Assess

The initial test is not a guaranteed repair. It is the first controlled step to understand whether the unit communicates, powers correctly and has a realistic next route.

ECU / ECM

Engine control modules, no-communication faults, read checks, cloning route checks and label identification.

BCM / BSI / CEM

Body control modules, water ingress concerns, central electronics issues and donor matching information.

Other Modules

Airbag, TCU, SCR/AdBlue and specialist vehicle electronics where the unit and fault are suitable for bench assessment.

Before You Send It

Good information saves wasted time. Photograph the label, connectors and any obvious damage before packaging the module.

  • Confirm vehicle registration, make, model and engine
  • Include part number, hardware and software numbers where visible
  • Tell us whether the module communicates on the vehicle
  • List known fault codes and previous repair attempts
  • Package the module safely with connector protection
  • Do not send wet, leaking or contaminated units without warning us
  • Wait for PPG to confirm a reference before sending the module
  • Wait for a quote before expecting repair, cloning or coding work

Security Work

Immobiliser, key, VIN or security-related work may require proof of ownership or trade authority. PPG can refuse work if authority is unclear.

Testing Enquiry Form

Complete the form carefully. PPG will review the details and confirm the correct testing route before any fee, repair quote or module sending.
