File Service Terms

Strict terms for ECU, TCU, calibration, OEM, tuned and add-on digital file supply.

Professional Use Only

  • Files are supplied for qualified professional users with suitable diagnostic, programming and calibration tools.
  • You must verify vehicle, ECU, HW, SW, ECU number, file size, checksum state and suitability before writing any file.
  • Clone tools, recovery tools and checksum-correct software must be used correctly by the buyer.

Digital Supply

  • Files are digital goods. Once payment is approved and the zipped file or secure temporary link has been sent to the confirmed delivery email, the order is treated as supplied.
  • The buyer is responsible for entering a correct delivery email address. Orders are fulfilled using the confirmed email supplied at checkout.
  • Temporary download links, where used, are secure and one-time use. The buyer must save the file immediately after download.
  • Permanent storage links and private file locations are never provided.

Compatibility

  • The checker is a compatibility aid and may fail closed where evidence is incomplete or conflicting.
  • Possible, donor or manual-verification matches must not be treated as direct flash compatibility.
  • Stage 2 and add-on files require the correct vehicle hardware, emissions setup and professional validation.

Payments

  • Normal catalogue orders are completed only after server-side Stripe payment approval.
  • Test or promotional codes may be enabled for site testing and are validated server-side.
  • Add-ons cannot be purchased alone and must be attached to a compatible tuned file in the same order.

Tuning Requests

  • Bespoke tuning requests require an uploaded original file and complete vehicle/ECU information.
  • A request token/payment may be required before submission enters the manual workflow.
  • Custom work is priced separately from automated catalogue file pricing.

Liability

  • The buyer accepts responsibility for reading, writing, checksums, programming procedure and final vehicle testing.
  • Prestige Performance Group is not liable for ECU/TCU damage, immobiliser issues, failed writes, incorrect tool use, illegal road use or unsupported modifications.
  • Files must be used only where lawful and suitable for the intended vehicle, market and use case.

These file-service terms sit alongside the main Prestige Performance Group terms and any Stripe/payment-provider terms shown during checkout.
